Spring is here, and it's the ideal time to clean up that bedroom. A few simple tasks can help make a big difference in the appearance and cleanliness of your sleeping quarters. Grab your cleaning supplies and tackle these cleanup tasks to make your sleep sanctuary sparkle.

Dust The Ceiling Fan

Over time, dust has likely collected on the ceiling fan or light fixture in your bedroom. Dust the fan and fan blades, and clean with a gentle cleanser and a cleaning cloth. For other light fixtures, take them down and gently wash and dry them before replacing.

Clean Your Mattress

Spring cleaning also means freshening up your mattress. Don't use cleaning fluids or any type of fabric protection application on your mattress. It may damage some of the materials. Simply apply baking soda to your mattress, let it stand for about 15 minutes, vacuum and repeat as needed. Wash Bedding

Put everything you can in the washing machine, from the comforter to pillows. Remember to only dry clean your removable mattress cover!

Declutter Nightstands and Dressers

Is your nightstand cluttered? Are too many items taking up space on your dresser? Now is a fantastic time to minimize clutter and keep these areas clean and organized. Donate or discard old clothes, books, and other items to clear up those spaces.

Make Your Bed Every Morning

Making your bed each morning is worth the extra effort. Not only is it your first finished task of the day, but it also can make your room comfortable and more inviting.
